Welcome to the home of Surrey Starlets Cheerleaders

The Surrey Starlets were formed in 1998 when programme director Kim Cope formed an after school club in Chessington as a way for the youth of Surrey to keep off the streets and become part of an athletic team. Entering their first competition only a year later, the Starlets placed 2nd and have gone from strength to strength ever since. With athletes ranging from 5-30 in age, the Surrey Starlets have gained success in competing both nationally and internationally and have been given the opportunity to represent Britain at the World Cheerleading Championships in 2007, 2013, 2014 with invitations to 2015 and 2016, and have gained a 10th place in the team event as well as 5th in the group stunt division. The Starlets aim to give the youth of Surrey the opportunity to compete at a national level whilst learning life skills such as team work.
